Hi, I’m Kira. I’m the co-owner of Elevated Gatherings. I love food, I love cannabis, and I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. When I came up with the idea to start this business, I thought it would be a good way to accomplish that goal while being around things I love and sharing them with good people.

One thing that is true about pretty much everything in life is that it doesn’t always go as you planned.

Throughout my career, I’ve found ways to work being a writer into various jobs that I’ve had, whether it was putting my creative spin on some boring health insurance enrollment emails, editing the company newsletter, or even the short-lived gig I had as a freelance journalist. I have lots of words in my head and I thought it would be fun to share some of them with you as I embark on my journey to successful small-business ownership.
